How much house can I afford?

My income is outlined above.

I have no personal debt other than the two mortgages (primary and STR). My business has debt but it’s profitable and has assets to cover it.

As I mentioned we don’t live extravagantly. Some restaurants a few times a month, travel is a big thing but I use miles I generate on my business cards to pay for most of it. Cars? I have a $70k car that’s paid off. My wife’s car is paid off but we have another newer car on order for her. It’ll cost about $50k. Nothing outrageous.

I don’t keep a budget but we cook at home, shop at Aldi :) and we’ve been adding about $100k a year to our savings and investments for the past few years after all of the expenses and taxes.

I don’t know what I’m comfortable with hence this post. Maybe that’s not exactly the true. I am comfortable with spending $1200 on my mortgage that I currently do. I know it won’t be anything close to it with the new place and I am not comfortable with that. Don’t know how to convince myself that we can afford it and not sure we can afford to tie ourselves to a huge mortgage for 30 years.
