I also found out recently that it hides nameplate, whereas to last time I read it, it was vague terminology like "lowered presence". So, it makes me want to rethink my ideals, but it's interesting to make counter-arguments and see if I get a decent response (not just, it's bad, and I struggle against it.) or just down-voted, Treant costume doesn't feel as crazy as people make it out to be. Sure, no name plate hurts, but it's not like it's unplayable.

^{Except for this guy, who is colour blind.} Though, I'm surprised Green clothing against Green grass is his issue (that's what the Treant costume is supposed to be like, hard to differentiate from other Walking or Not Walking trees for the common eye [Like I didn't know colour-blind meant Green is hard to see against Green {Which is normal in the case of a "Ghillie Suit"} but, whatever I guess..]).

I have a friend who struggles with Red & Green, so even if you wore a Red costume in a forest, it'd be hard (not impossible) for him to see you.

There's a lot of other games, that don't use name plates to distinguish targets be it another MMO or even a Third-Person Shooter (Black Desert is Thirdperson with WASD controls and a cross hair with ranged and melee characters, so it could essentially also fall under this sub-category [I know different mechanics and what not. But the same systematic choice of no player identifiers aside from being reliant on visual pereception]), or whatever else there may be.

It's just people crying over spilt milk, and exaggerating their losses by placing the blame on an item (cash shop [in this case; cash shop] or not).

And with the consistent amount of threads made every day with a complaint about it, I doubt the Dev's haven't realized by now that a some people are upset.
