My son’s father has another kid that was formula fed. His mom never breast fed but his sister did. Somehow none of them understood that it’s a lot of work, I need extra calories and BFing a baby is a lot all around. I was constantly told by my now ex that I did nothing. His mother seemed to understand sometimes and then suddenly didn’t and acted like I was doing everything wrong bc I didn’t just use formula. My ex thought I was preventing him from bonding with our son bc I was feeding him, and letting him sleep in my arms when he fell asleep eating was me being lazy. I wish I’d have even gotten a backhanded I’m proud of you comment, not to compare our stuff but getting the opposite really sucks too.
