no one i know in my day to day life has had their eyes opened to autism “destigmatization” of any kind because it’s a very specific niche you’re talking about.
on top of that, as said in my other comment, there imho is 2 different things getting mixed up in this thread (and other similar threads for that matter).
Self-diagnosing because you are having troubles/ issues that you are legit suffering under is not the same thing like being on tic toc and making a "quirky" video claiming to be autistic.
If OP said, he doesn't like those quirky tictoc-people I might even have agreed with it, but taking those tic toc videos as "reason" to dislike self-diagnosis overall just feels wrong.
