Upcoming PharmD thinking of applying for mBA and have a couple questions

Hi, it wouldnt qualify even if it was paid? All 3 years of my work experience was paid (albeit low salary).

I see, that sounds like a better plan. I don't mind taking my time to prepare for getting in. I would like an MBA because it provides a lot of the necessary skills to be a business-driven pharmacist in managed care. MBAs are generally flexible and it can be used in a managed care setting (insurance companies, PBMs, health system administration) as well as industry setting (pharmaceutical companies, etc). It is more flexible than getting an MPH since I don't really plan on working for the government or w/e.

With all the expensive biologics and gene therapy coming out, allocating costs and being able to perform budget and statistical analysis is a crucial skill for any company. I learned a bit of it during my internship but I feel that school would provide me with a deeper insight. Specialty pharmacy is a hugely growing field and I really wish to be involved in it.
