Do the rankings/prestige really matter for veteran students?

You are deviating from the argument that veterans have desired skills that bring a unique perspective to MBA programs and consulting firms.

I called you a pick me girl because like you, I once did not believe things I experienced myself and made jokes and downplayed my minority in an attempt to fit in better with my peers.

Regardless of how you feel, it does happen. Most people would rather cry something is unfair instead of wondering why that happens.

Who said it’s not going to keep us moving forward? I’m happy to grow awareness of veteran hardships regardless if they are different from my own. I’m also happy to have positive relationships with non vets so they know we aren’t all shitheads. But regardless of how much you try to diminish my opinion, I’m not going to accept asinine opinions and not tolerating them does not equate a chip on my shoulder. Adapting doesn’t mean toleration either….or downplaying others because you have not experienced or heard of this yourself.
