MBA Summer Internship: Amazon vs Apple

"Strategic SOURCING intern" seems like a recruiting role. If so, Amazon hands down. Program Management is offers much more long-term growth and mobility. Recruiting is first to be laid off in recessions, lowest paid, and has least growth in probably all of tech.

L6 program Managers will make 200-300k TC if she gets the return. Also the job is so chill.

Here is an example. I interned at Amazon in my jr year of undergrad. The program manager of my internship went on to Microsoft overseeing their entire internship experience (ASPIRE). Her replacement makes 250k to plan happy hours and answer slack questions for THREE MONTHS OF THE YEAR. It's a summer internship. What she does those remaining 9 months is beyond me, because she is solely responsible for this one internship program.

Anyone saying Apple isn't looking at the titles of the roles and considering their implications in tech, they are just assuming Amazon < Apple no matter what.
