Wharton (no $) vs Booth ($$) vs Columbia ($) for Real Estate?

Bologna.

Real estate is not MBB or tech recruiting. Over the long run, your network is your career. School matters quite a lot.

CBS and Wharton are the top flight programs in this space thanks to the adjunct faculty. Columbia’s GSAPP offers both an extremely shiny architecture program and a very well-regarded/connected RE development masters. UPenn’s architecture program is in the same conversation more or less.

This stuff really matters in real estate, especially if you’re planning to put up your own shingle. Real estate is really different than other post-MBA fields.

Source: I know people who finance/build/design big stuff and speak/teach at architecture/business programs at Columbia and Penn. I considered real estate as a career once upon a time.
