Schalke would utterly dominate most if not every MLS team so what does that say? Why are you trying to preemptively shit on this player and compare him to Freddy Adu? The Adu era is over. If we have a player in a top league getting good minutes they get called up. Another reality is most prospects and young players don't make it. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be excited about young players or reticent to give them a chance to show what they can do if their work earns it. If Schalke start giving him cup starts and serious BL minutes and he is good in them then Bruce would be doing us harm by prioritizing weaker players who waited their turn which is absurd and not what good soccer nations do. They bring up players if they are good enough so lets see what happens with this exciting player.
