Zardes First Touch Compilation

You might want to brush up on the definition of constructive criticism. Just because you point out someone's deficiencies so they get better doesn't make it constructive. That's just called criticism still. Like what I am doing here.

Now if I say, hey /u/SkiZag, that's not actually what constructive criticism is, this is what constructive criticism is: Constructive criticism is feedback you give to a group or an individual that provides the positive and negative aspects of the deficiency in a manner that doesn't intentionally invoke hostility from the recipient. You are right that the overall goal of CC is to identify a deficiency, and improve that deficiency (so here is where I am giving you positive feedback), but you missed the crucial aspect of highlighting the positives and providing a method to improve the deficiency (in this case, if you tell Zardes, hey you are really good at this portion, but if you focus on this other portion, then you're touch will get better - and here is why I provide you the negative aspects of why your definition of constructive criticism isn't quite correct).

There's a reason criticizing someone is easy (like making a funny video showing how bad Zardes' touch is and yes I thought it was funny), and don't get me wrong, I think his touch is pretty poor as well for a professional/international level soccer player. So I'm not going to go all SJW on everyone and say "Hey! Don't make fun of Zardes' touch!" But I do want to point out the difference between criticism and constructive criticism if you think the goal of these videos is to ultimately make a meaningful assessment on Zardes' skill level.
