I can to an extent. Having just graduated from UTD. The culture is very reclusive and nerdy. It’s also a commuter school. Richardson is pretty much a massive suburb, the school itself doesn’t put on much events, sports culture there isn’t really a thing. It’s pretty much go there for school and then immediately leave. That’s the grind there.

It can be hard for people looking to get out and spread their wings a bit socially. I also went to acc before transferring. No lie, I’d put the social life at acc a bit better than UTD. And that’s not a stab, it’s just my account, it wasn’t really worth spending all the extra $$, it’s a pricey public option and no real foundation as far as social life. The school doesn’t do much to support one.
