Vaporlips or vaporware? Complete waste of time and money.

I know I am posting into an old thread, but I thought I would give a little bit of insight into my experience with ordering a mod through vaporlips. I first placed my order on October 21st and had been given a delivery quote of eight weeks. After the eight weeks had passed, I emailed David (the owner) asking when my box was going to be completed. He told me that due to an increase in demand, and a few family issues, they were a little behind schedule, but I should expect my mod to be completed a little after New Years. Once again, the date came and went with no word that my mod had been completed. Instead, I received an email stating that they had implemented a ticketing system to better update their customers on their progress through all of the orders they had received. I received the ticket number #263 and had been told that they were near completing order #240 and expected to complete around ten mods a week (This was near the beginning of January). Being a little frustrated that my box wouldn't be completed for another two to three weeks, I emailed David to voice my concerns. He assured me that with the new ticket system things would turn around and I should receive updates weekly on their progress. I decided to give Vaporlips the benefit of the doubt and stuck with them thinking that if I had already waited this long, how bad would another few weeks be. However, after two weeks of receiving their newsletter, Vaporlips stopped sending them out. I emailed David once again inquiring about their progress through the orders and was told that he had been ill for a couple of weeks, and that the people he had hired to make the boxes ran off with some of his inventory. He did however, had good news that I could look forward to a final delivery date around February 25th, and would be receiving updates soon. So I was expected to receive my mod on week eighteen of an eight week lead time. I was upset, but at least I had a date to look forward to. However, once again the delivery date came and went with no update. At this point, I was extremely frustrated with Vaporlips and emailed once again voicing my concerns. He said that they were working on it and expected to have it done that night (February 25th). Excited that they had finally finished my mod, I asked to see some pictures of it. On March 1st, he replied with a picture of an unpowdercoated, unfinished mod with my engraving on it. Having expected to see that it was finished I was pretty mad, but was just happy to see that my box was actually being worked on. Its now been three weeks since receiving the pictures of my engraved box, and they still have yet to complete assembling my box. I am beyond angry at this point after being told so many times that my mod was near completion. The one good thing I can say about this company, is that they do respond quickly to emails. David has returned my emails throughout this process. I will post the email thread below just to show you what I've had to deal with. (leaving out some non important messages)
