If you don't like it don't sign up. Legit nobody gives a fuck about your opinions on whether or not the rules are fair and whining about it won't change a thing about the tournament because the rules are set in stone. Don't sign up, boycott it, do whatever you want. The tournament will still go on regardless.
Like the inability to adapt with this community fucking blows my mind and it's the reason why many competitive TF players have moved on to better games like CSGO and UT. You see one thing outside of your comfort bubble and you freak the fuck out claiming bias and all sorts of nonsense that should never be said. Then if anyone disagrees with your opinion you derep them and link all your friends to derep them as well. If you had a competitive mindset you'd see what these rules were trying to achieve and you'd be okay with a change of pace. Titanfall has titans, cool, we get it. But as it currently stands the titanfall CTF scene under Aetkas' major god rules has become 5v5 LTS. Running flags as an actual viable tactic is almost obsolete because loltitancapping and everyone on your team throwing nades. Hell even gunning down a flag carrier is extremely easy. If you honestly have fun playing 5v5 midslayer then good for you. That's not what this tournament is about. It's clearly designed to bring running and actually shooting back into your shooter.
This was a fail tournament from the get go. It's so stupid. Seriously, why ban controllers? There's litterally three players in the community who uses them. This is nothing but an attack against RTS and you know it. I am not even going to play, but this is so retarded it's ridiculous. It's laughable, really. This is never going to get enough teams signed up. To be honest, I don't really want it to be either. It's such a stupid tournament I would boycott it by principle. The only thing this tournament has going for it is the map pool. Other than that, no... It's simply dumb.
Why ban controllers? Because there's MORE than just 3 people that use controllers specifically for aim assist. 2 of them being on the ER titanfall comp team who mind you were completely fine with this adjustment.
The comment about this being targetted against RTS is lollable. And the fact that you want to boycott this and make a huge fuss really shows your inability to adapt to a new set of rules that isn't Aetkas legion.
TL;DR stop being a vagina and learn to adapt.
