Venezuela Unleashes Tanks as 4 Killed, 1,200 Arrested

I know the reports you're talking about, this was a problem of drafted armies. The US specifically took steps in basic training to combat this problem after the Vietnam war. We want guys who are willing to kill.

we as humans will value the lifes of others higher than our own This is a very broad statement. I honestly don't care about the lives of criminals or aggressors. I can put this down to cultural and national differences.

I'm not saying I want to murder someone, I don't. I'm saying if I had to defend myself and somebody died, I wouldn't care about it.

Really? That description actually fits rockets pretty well. Stuff goes out one end, rocket goes the other direction.

You're nitpicking so I'll do the same. Bullets don't produce their own thrust, this is why bullets and artillery are relatively "easy". The "rocket science" part of rocket science, is the fact that rockets produce their own thrust. The weight is changing during the flight, the thrust produced varies at different stages, it's all quite complicated.

I'm glad you're good at shooting, congratulations. Now I'll get to the meat of my post.

I get it, you're in Denmark and it's nice there and you don't think anyone should have guns. I'm not in Denmark, I'm in America and it isn't especially nice here.

I don't live in a crime-ridden area at all. Very nice upper middle-class life. On the other hand over my 30 or so years I can think of a lot of violent incidents I've seen and heard of. My hairdresser, and a neighbor were both stabbed. I've had on two separate occasions someone try to stab me with a screwdriver. I've had three friends beaten badly enough to require hospitalization, one suffered a brain injury. A friend's father, and a friend of a friend were both shot. Compared to national standards I live in a very low-crime area. Still these are just the events that come to mind.

We could outlaw guns entirely, but then criminals would still have them. If we could get rid of all the guns, we'd still have assholes. People are what they are. If I ever have to defend myself, I want every advantage I can have.
