NYC has a new “Alert level” chart.

Contrary to CDC guidance, masks are recommended for all and required for childcare settings even during the low risk level… Medium brings masks to all schools and the vaccine passport back. High brings mask mandates for all, and very high brings a lockdown.

NYC will die if this continues. Living with a constant threat that introduces big disruptions to your daily life, especially when they don’t work, IS NOT HEALTHY… This is becoming a mental illness and many people will unknowingly suffer under a plan like this. Individual rights aside, this is mental abuse and no jurisdiction should have the ability to torture they population like this.

The optimist in me says this is just a way to silence people who complain about restrictions being lifted until they forget about it, but the realist in me knows that this will not end without declaring this state of emergency over. I don’t live in NYC, I haven’t visited in years, but I can imagine a big chunk of the city is living in an alternative reality and this desperately needs to be stopped…
