(VIDEO) University of Georgia's "Lady on Pope Street" has recently surpassed the boundaries of "creepy." (NOT STAGED, LEVEL 10 CREEPY)

Just came across this post. The whole situation is pretty messed up I would say.. But I felt I should put in my two cents from everything I have heard.

A couple of months ago a student started noticing this lady starring out her window and word got out and others wanted to see. Now- not agreeing with this situation at all, but we have to remember this is a college town. If some young students find out about something like this, they are going to be interested. I dont think majority of the students actually thought this whole thing through. Alot of the students I have talked to said it was all staged. A buddy of mine heard it was an act. There were also rumors of drugs and then mental illness. If students knew the woman was mentally unstable this situation would have been handled alot better. However, that was not a known fact.

Bashing our fellow dawgs about this will not make the situation any better. The word harassing is such a harsh word, but legally it is what has been done. I would say 99% of the students who have taken a drive by her house were only innocently interested on what was going on. I know plenty of people who have driven by her house rather than the people in that video and from pictures on social media. The video is of people in a car seeing her "freak out" while driving by, which is usually what occurs everytime someone does drive by. The womans actions in this video is the reason why student's see it as such a "thrill"..because it is truly scary to see someone react like that. Her actions were so amplified you would hope it was all an act. With voices from people who know her, we all know now this woman is struggling mentally. This video just happened to go viral. I dont want to say the video being sent around was a good thing, but it has put an end to this. It really sucks to hear that this poor lady is suffering. It also really sucks people truly thought it was only a joke and kept this going. Cops are now involved and I think the situation will eventually die down. I saw a post on facebook with the manager from Jimmy Johns helping her. Props to you man.

This just goes to show how easy it is to misunderstand any situation. You never know what is going on with someone personally. Its so easy for people to point fingers and say this and that, its human nature. I hope this is a lesson for EVERYONE. Before you act, think. Before you bash on others, THINK. I hope we all know now we should never speculate any situation we know nothing of.
