Volunteers say they won't be silenced after 'abortion is healthcare' banner vandalized in Regina

By the way for your information part of the intake portion is asking people to share their reasoning and from having many of these conversations I can tell you from like actual reality that if you want to know what would reduce the amount of abortions more than anything at all?

Social programs and a welfare state that made it just as lucrative for a woman to choose to be a mother as it is for her to work. The single biggest reason people tell me they are not ready for a child after simple life circumstances is finances- people know how much the kids they already have cost and they look at their future and cannot see a way to make another baby work. God doesn’t provide dollars. And I just don’t believe that people who say they are pro life are actually interested in reducing abortions - it isn’t about giving any sort of shit about any baby alive or not it’s just about control. They don’t want limits on abortion they want it banned. Well I’m sorry but I think anybody who feels that way and doesn’t also strongly support higher taxes in order to fund state welfare programs that would make it actually possible to have a decent life whilst staying home as a parent and higher wages that would allow for more flexibility and ability to support whatever family size people actually want to have is just disingenuous and just wants to be able to tell other people what they can and can’t do.
