That smile when you have a surplus and can charter planes to go for lunch every day of the week.

You fail to realize that if they were public that everyone's taxes would go up therefore not everyone benefits. Nothing is free in life dude.

Also, I still am not convinced those two clinics are actually fully or even partially Alberta owned. By the way it sounds they are owned by 50 radiologists who operate them. You were spouting off without any proof. Even if they are Albertan that's only 2/4.

Those trained technicians need machines to operate. If the MRIs weren't here they'd either be employed out of province or working a different job here.

I'm sure they would be stoked by your suggestion for the government to confiscate their property lol.

There are 7 Public Clinics and 4 Private (which do a 1:1 ratio of free and paid ones) Chill bruh...

And no, I have empathy for others by supporting private. By me going private I'm not spending our collective tax money so it can go further to help others and also decrease wait times.

I haven't told this to anyone and I didn't do it for attention, but I gave a broke unemployed family with 3 young kids that I didn't even know $250 of groceries and $100 cash earlier this month and I'm middle class at best. So if you want to call me selfish and non-empathetic by all means go ahead. I hope you are the type of person you claim to be. Your heart is likely in the right place, but I seriously disagree with your logic.
