Vyapam Whistleblowers: 'We Are Not Digvijaya’s Agents, We Are RSS Members'

People need to decouple BJP, and nationalism. The BJP does not have a monopoly on the term, nor does it have a monopoly on Hinduism. Furthermore even though the BJP won on a Hindu basis, the Hindus voted based on the promises the BJP gave to them. Whether they uphold those promises, or not is yet to be seen.

The trajectory of a government can change quite rapidly, and no amount of U-Turns really signifies incompetence. Perhaps they see the political problem better when in power. Whatever it is it seems to be an inherent problem in the Republic systems of governance. Obama had promised similarly, but overtime failed to deliver, and definitely "u-turned" on his promises.

In the end all I hope for is an improvement of economic, infrastructural, and in general human quality of life in India. The rest will follow.

Personally I believe much the same a "Hindu Nationalist" would believe in, but a government is not just based in beliefs it is based in good governance. Governance that is lacking, but I do think it's a bit early to make any comment on both the Gov, and on the Vyapam Scam. Which is why the government is mum. I also believe that while there so many suspicious deaths, some are also thrown in that in the end dilute/detracts from actual cases, but intensify the outrage.

Who is killing these people will probably never be clear. It just won't ever happen. I personally think that while it's plausible for the BJP to have had a hand in this, and probably do to an extent, I don't think these deaths are a central conspiracy, but rather the outcome of thousands of people trying to cover their ass.

In the end I hope BJP is making internal political calculations to respond adequately, and intelligently. I just hope they're not going to the Winchester, and hoping for all this to just blow over.
