Weekday Help and Victory Thread for the week of December 07, 2020

Hi, I looked at your wiki and didn't really see an answer. I'm a very bad impulsive buyer. It's really bad because they're usually practical things that are usually on my list to get eventually. What makes it worse is that I'm usually broke but I've been struggling financially really bad this year. Like going without eating bad. But I got a new job that pays $15 an hour 2 weeks ago and that kind of lulls me into thinking I can spend a little money but it snowballs. I tried reading articles but the first 10 ones didn't have any tips that helped me specifically and I started having a meltdown. I've been really stressed lately. My bf and I actually had a gigantic fight bc I spent way too much on payday last Friday. I fucked up enough that he said if I do this, this bad again, we have to break up. (Which is valid.) And yesterday I was doing an exchange and return but I'm ashamed that I ended up spending $100 of the money that I got back from returning the stuff from Friday. I tried budget apps but they are confusing and don't make sense to me. Idk what to do, please help!!!!!!!
