Weekly LF MMO Suggestion Thread- April 04, 2016

What are you looking for? Solid game with many areas to explore. Lore content isn't too too important to me these days, but I prefer it to "kill x and return" in every city you go to. I had fun with a lot of Wildstar's quests even though it was just clicking on glowing items because they made it feel new and immersive. No pay to win, no sucking my life away to enjoy the features (looking at you, Eve).

What games have you previously played?: Ultima Online, Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, World of Warcraft, Everquest2, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, Rift, Archeage, and a handful of other F2P titles (though never for very long).

What is your playstyle? Casual to semi-casual. Maybe a couple of hours twice a week. Occasionally I can get a full weekend day of playing in.

Any preferred mechanics? I prefer tab-targetting, though I'm not against the real time combat a lot of these games have been coming out with.. I just don't like the way a lot of them implement it. I'd rather have many skill bars full of spells and abilities than have to spam the same skill over and over and over.

Anything specific you want to exclude? Pay to win. I really liked Archeage as a game but could not continue due to these mechanics. I'd love to pay for a subscription to support a game (and currently still have my SOE and Eve subscriptions running), but will not purchase currency or items from a cash shop.

If it helps, Vanguard was my favourite game of all time (more so than Everquest) before it was turned off. I've been looking for a new MMO since but haven't had any luck and spend a majority of my time playing Planetside2.. but I'd like to get back in the RPG world.
