Another major Insurance Provider is leaving

And it’s the homeowner’s right to assign their benefits over or hire a roofer to make a claim on their behalf. So my question is. If it’s not fraud for the homeowners, why is it fraud for the roofers?

They can’t recover everything, plus avoid their deductible, etc. It truly goes both ways. But again. If it’s not fraud for the homeowners to hire roofers, contractors, and/or adjusters to assist with their claim, why is it fraud for the roofers, contractors, and/or adjusters to take their claim? That is what I was trying to point out.

Also. You should know. Insurance defense attorneys do not want this situation either.
