A couple of years ago I went to a skin doctor by the urging of my PCP, waited FOUR months for the appointment. I had been in the waiting room for over an hour (45+ mins after my appt was supposed to start) when I finally got called in. Waited another 30+ minutes in the exam room, for the Dr to come in with two students - looked at my skin for MAYBE 5 seconds and told me that it was 1) not serious enough so I'd have to pay out of pocket for cosmetic removal elsewhere and 2) too serious for them to do here because it needed a biopsy. The total appointment time was less than five minutes and I was billed $600. I have zero trust in the system or any doctor since that experience.
