Yeah but the grateful dead was still going on for a long time to this day and their lots are open markets, the term "6 up" I learned from grateful dead people in 2009 which means heads up cops and people stash their shit and break down the open markets. If the grateful dead openly started making songs about cops, and disliking rich people they'd probably get the gang status to make the prosecutions easier. But the police definitely target both groups, I was at an icp show in 2015 or so and there were about 20 police cars out side one openly dhs taking pictures of people in line and this is in Philly where crime is big so they weren't bored they had orders. I was at a phish lot show and narcotics units flooded the parking lot patrolling, making multiple busts. And yeah other groups do talk about that which is why you see another reddit user in this thread talk about the time Homeland security shut down a punk show lol.
