How the right sees feminists

Agreed. I suppose I'm a "trad" wife. I stayed home until the kids were in school and the jobs I've had since then have allowed me to be home when my family is home (at the school, freelance art, part time remote). We're happy with our lives and our decisions. My husband is an executive (getting there definitely took work from both of us, and if I had my own career, it couldn't have happened), our kids are happy, successful and well adjusted, and I got to be there for everything with my kids, spend time with my parents, and support my husband.

Maybe it's not for everyone, but being a trad wife has been great for me. I've lived in three states, actually did work in several different fields (albeit part time), and traveled all over the world. Now that my kids are teens, I even ran for a political office this fall. I'm not oppressed, bored, or without accomplishments. I just took a different path.
