What is an interesting fact that you have never seen mentioned on Reddit?

I'm sure this will never be seen and whoever sees this will think I'm lying like most askreddit stories....but I've seen Brian peppers in real life...before his mugshot went viral. I grew up in the small Ohio town he lived in. My elementary school would have a little get together at the roller skating rink every month. I didn't go often, but I went occasionally. I would've gone more had I actually been able to skate. Anyway, this is early 2000s, maybe 2002-2004. So because I can't skate, I usually Just ate pizza and played arcade games. One day I'm chilling eating my pizza, and there's a little action towards the front. Nothing like a movie or a big confrontation, but I noticed a couple cops towards the front, maybe three or so. Keep in mind I'm not really all that close and can't hear them, but I see them talking to a guy. This is the most action I've had all night as I was usually bored to death at these things. A cop moves a little, and I see the dude they're talking to. His face was really really really fucking weird looking. I had no idea what was going on, and I didn't want to be rude and make fun of a dude for looking weird because for all I know he could've been in an accident or something. But that image was scarred in my head. He just didn't look like a human. Anyway they just walked him out. No handcuffs or anything, just walked him out and that was that.

Like a year or two later my friend comes over. Like all young kids in the mid 2000s, we liked to look at weird shit on the web. My buddy starts telling me about this weird ass dude named Brian peppers. I think nothing of it. He puts the picture up. How bad could it be? It's horrifying. Wait a minute. As I'm nauseous from looking at it, I realize I've seen this person before. Where though? It clicks. That was the dude from the skating rink! I ask him where he saw this, and he says the Lucas county mugshot list or whatever. Sure enough, he's from my area. Small fucking world. I loved telling that fact to people I met when I moved in 06 lol. He was still popular then. I doubt anyone remembers now though.
