What are the biggest cultural differences between the U.S. and Canada? What vibe do you get when you visit Canada?

I lived in a Chinese/Korean part of California and my parents sometimes live in a Chinese part of British Columbia. So I guess Canada feels less Korean and slightly more Chinese to me.

There aren't as many high end Asian supermarkets there, more lower end family owned Asian supermarkets. But I think the non-Japanese supermarkets have better food courts than the ones here. Foody World is kind of cool. There are less specific markets and you find more supermarkets that sells all Asian food instead of just Japanese or just Chinese. H-mart there is very disappointing and reminded me of the H-Mart in downtown Chicago than the ones in California. There are also a lot more supermarkets but they are much smaller than the ones I see in America. I enjoy having supermarkets in the bottom floor of high rises, which is more common in Vancouver than it is in LA, from my experience. I really dont like the Japanese supermarkets in Vancouver

When the weather is good there are less joggers in Canada but less cyclists.

I feel often that the supermarkets in Canada stock their shelves higher than supermarkets in America. I sometimes need to stand up and reach for things on the top shelf of some supermarkets there.

Sometimes when you buy meat at the Butchers Counter from the US, they will say Product of the U.S.A in Canada while they will usually write it out as USA in America.

I find that often there is too much clear plastic packaging used in Canada on ready to eat items. But it is because they use plastic where we sometimes use styrofoam instead, so not necessarily worse for the environment.

I find that Canadian stores sometimes are more lax on copyright law, but you will find similar knockoffs in places like Chinatown in the US.

Other than random differences in supermarket culture I dont think there is much cultural difference between the US and Canada from the areas that I interact with the most.

I think maybe Canadians are more predisposed to eating blood sausage but maybe that is not a culture thing
