i had rented studio apartment during my graduation in suburbs of pune, there were 3 other studio apartments on my floor and all were vacant, one day i found my flat unlocked and door open, upon entering my flat, my landlords daughter in law sprang up on me, and she was not wearing any clothes, i was damn scared because i was ' a male, college student, hosteler, outsider, alone' after an hour of struggling, she broke into tears and told me her story, she had been married to a totally gay person, and had not have any kind of physical relation (she was in her late 30's) with any one and so on. i some how made her dress up and leave that day hoping this wont happen,
i had rented that flat on terms that i will not leave it before 1 year and if i did i would not get my deposit money back, and could not explain my parents why i had to switch the place after just 2 months of stay.
so i started staying at a friends flat, but some how some one tipped my parents that i stay out all the time and i might have got into 'WRONG COMPANY' it was not hard to figure out who would have done,(only my landlord had my dads phone number and my dad said some woman called).
my dad made sure i stay on my flat and study properly, now that i was stuck there the drama started again, the woman would come to my room at any time naked and do psychopathic things, utter nasty things. i would just sit in a corner watching her empty her madness on me and my stuff, she would use my belongings(even snacks and fruits i used to but) as toys, my rotring pens, pencils. i was terrified, it was not the age of smartphones and i had a nokia 6610 (color screen but no camera) daily this thing used to happen at least once. i learnt to keep myself calm and resist silently.
i have seen the worst after that, at the end when i gave the vacating notice to my landlord, she started telling him wrong and gross things about me, right ON my face, but i guess the land lord knew everything it and he totally ignored it. i stayed in a hostel rest of my graduation and spent my days happily, i will never forget these shitty things ever, even now the thought of renting a flat give me chill down my spine....
