What are some misconceptions about your country that you'd like to clarify?

No, you're not interpreting my meaning correctly. I don't think people should get jobs and accommodation and stuff for free. They are responsible for their own lives and their shitty attitude. But I've been poor and it's absolutely soul crushing and it made me hate myself and everyone even remotely more successful in life than me. I think that's pretty normal for people to feel and unfortunately some people take that out on others. I'm not saying they should just "get a job" either because that's very hard. I'm trying to empathise with people who are hurting and being very unpleasant because of it. That doesn't mean I think they should get any preferential treatment before others, especially those who actually try hard and still not gets a job.

And my use of the word "we" in the last text includes them. They won't get out of hell without trying. But I can definitely empathise with trying hard and still not getting anywhere and this leading to frustration and anger. I needed therapy to become less of an asshole because of those feelings. Maybe these assholes do too. I needed the tools to be able to learn to take responsibility for my life. Without that therapy I'd probably be where they are now. Unemployed and angry at myself, society and anyone that even looked happy.
