What are the worst injuries you have sustained doing the simplest, most mundane tasks that should not have caused any injuries?

So when I was about 3 I was helping my mum do some baking in the kitchen. Being a tiny person I had to stand up on a chair to see the kitchen bench. Now being a 3 year old I was super excited about the delicious baking being made. So I started jumping on the chair and after a few bounces I missed the chair on my way back dow and with the full weight of my body landed precisely with my two front teeth on the bench.

Needless to say there was a lot of blood and I didn't have front teeth anymore. My parents where unable to find the teeth anywhere so it was assumed that I knocked then out and swallowed them. Well a trip to the dentist a day or two later revealed that they where in fact embedded up in my skull. I had landed on such an angle that they where rammed back up into the bone. So I ended up having to have them surgically removed. Good thing they where my baby teeth.

tl;dr Midget me knocked my teeth into my skull while doing bakeing with my mum. Had to have them surgically removed.
