Cheaper hotels have free internet, nice hotels assume if you were willing to shell our $300 a night then you're probably willing to spend more.

Same with the booze. We had Grey Goose bottles on our room service menus that were $190 even though you could go to the 7/11 next door and get it fit $30.

The good news is you can call the desk and complain and they will probably give it to you for free (if you can sell it, like say you're a doctor and you need to do tele-health), or if you're a Marriott rewards member then just say that.
