Best friend was hit by a semi and 75% of his body was burned up while unconscious before someone pulled him out. One of the passengers died on impact.

Brother died on the way to work.

My car was totaled by a driver talking on the phone and not paying attention. That one hurt.

I was shot a couple times by an asshole while delivering pizza. RIP spleen.

My wife is going blind in one eye and it's untreatable.

Life has some heavy swings and it's not fair but there's also so much to experience and if I let hardship keep me down I wouldn't be having so much fun. We could spend all day bitching about shit or we can get off our ass and do something that gives us pleasure. Personally I think it's pointless to dwell on what I dislike when my attention it's naturally drawn to what I do like.
