But isn't that what the film is about? The sexualisation of women and how it affects children? You're literally supposed to be disgusted by the scenes. Just like I was disgusted at racist scenes in things like American History X but I ain't going to say "the film used nazi symbolism and is glorifying/exposing it to potentially millions of people". Because the message of the film is that it's a not a good path and I hear the whole message of this film is the same. I've seen others outlets defend it saying people's emotions are keeping them from grasping the message of the film and are misdirecting there emotional outrage to the film makers instead of the wider issue of children being exposed to the normality of hypersexualization of women.
