falsely accused a close friend of mine of taking advantage of her at a club. little did she know, i was there at that club that night with a different group of friends, saw what actually went down (her grinding all over him and putting her hand down his pants on the dance floor while aggressively initiating french kissing), and knew that this did not line up with her rendition of "he had his hands all over me and I was really uncomfortable."

she knew i liked her and was trying to save face to maintain our friendship, but really that shit just proved to me how toxic she was. what's funny is they were both single and i really didn't give that much of a shit that they were hooking up - it was how casually the lie was made up and the life-ruining nature of the lie that really alarmed me.
