What did Fortnite do to make Reddit despise it so passionately?

Everyone hates the generation that comes after them. It’s almost laughable to me now to see how universally loved call of duty is among early to mid 20’s people online

Call of Duty was universally despised back when you all were teeny boppers. Go back and read metacritic user reviews. They all used to get review bombed. To such an extent that IGN once wrote an article asking people to not review bomb call of duty, but to rate it fairly.

Call of duty was far, FAR more hated than Fortnite is now. But y’all grew up and now it’s loved. Give it time, the fortnite kids will grow up and will look back fondly on it in 10 years.

And you’ll roll your eyes at them like I roll mine at you.
