Going to the bathroom.

We had a study hall teacher that was basically the essence of a control freak. She always had to control what her students did, what they were doing, and was strangely always pregnant(in my three years in HS she got pregnant no less than 3 times).

She had grid on the left most side of the whiteboard with big words that said "DO NOT ERASE with the words "Bathroom breaks" underneath that with students names. Basically, you were allowed to go to the bathroom only 3 times a month in her class, only at her specified times(you couldn't go 15 minutes after class started and 15 minutes before class ended). She also had to 'approve' you going to the bathroom, so that meant that she would basically judge if you really had to pee/poop or if you were trying to get out of her class.

It was 100 degrees one day and I like many other kids were carrying around those giant plastic waterbottles and drinking from them constantly, meaning we had to piss a whole lot. I got in her class, waited the 15 minutes, and asked if I could go to the bathroom and got denied because all my breaks were up. I asked again and said it was an emergency, got denied again, and said "I have to go" before getting up and walking out of the classroom. When I got back, the teacher was furious with me and threw me out and called the office telling everyone that I was "disrupting her class" and "undermining her authority". I ended getting 5 detentions and serving one, I don't even think they kept track of them except for repeat offender kids(which I wasn't).

The funny thing is I remember getting told by one of the kiss-ass administrative people that "Albinohessian! You think when you get out into the real world you can just go to the bathroom anytime you want? The world doesn't work around your schedule". When I did actually get out into the real world of College/Employment, I found out that everyone else would rather have you take a minute or two off to use the restroom instead of shitting yourself.
