What is the dumbest thing you got punished for in school?

When I was in 7th grade, I overheard some teachers talking about a bomb threat drill happening on Thursday at 10am, so me being the planner that I was, I decided to write "Bomb threat drill Thursday 10am" on a sheet of paper, you know for planning purposes. Unbeknownst to me, when I left the class I was in, I apparently left that sheet of paper behind.

Fast forward the next day, the principal comes into my English class and informs is that the state is requiring we write a short paragraph on some stupid prompt. So there I am writing the shit outta that paper and once everyone is finished, she collects the papers and leaves.

A few hours pass and then one of my teacher's classroom phone rings, it's for me and they want me in the office. So there I go, walking to the principal's office, replaying the entire day's events in my head, positive that I had not misbehaved that day. I assumed it was for something good...WRONG!

I walk into the office and there is a police officer, the assistant principal and the principal. They confront me about the note and knowing I'm in deep shit, I deny it. They then inform me that they have my writing sample (from the short paragraph the "state" required) and that they knew it was me. Not knowing that we didn't have linguistic experts, I confessed. They told me how serious it was and that even if i didn't plan on bombing the school, I ruined they're drill and put the school in danger. My parents were called and I was sent home.

At home my parents asked the usual "what the fuck were you thinking" questions and I assured them that I had no idea that this would transpire. The next day at school, with my parents in tow I am sat down and talked to by the police officer he questions me and makes sure I had no intentions of bombing the school. The district informs me that instead of being expelled or sent to an alternative school, they would assign me 12 days of In-School Suspension (ISS)...12 FUCKING DAYS! In the end they went through with the drill anyway.

TL;DR: wrote the date of a bomb threat drill and got accused of planning on bombing the school.
