I was driving home from the gym and turned onto a 2 lane street, look in my rear view mirror and i see someone flying up to my car, luckily he switched lanes. I proceed to drive behind him in the lane next to him and I witnessed him all over and road nearly swerving into the curb. Then he took off at a speed of id say 90+. Lost sight of him. So i kept driving back home and turned onto another road that is on my way home, about halfway down that road I see a accident. I already knew it was that guy because the amount he was swerving and speeding it was only a matter of time. Im the first one on scene, the guys car who was swerving ended up in a ditch and he was throw about 20 or so feet from the car. Super bloody, no shoes on, and struggling to breathe. And I will always remember his belt, it was a shoelace. By now another bystander had stopped to help (actually oddly ended up being someone Ive hung out with multiple times, friend of a friend) and we both just stood there watching him die. We were about 20 at the time and had no idea what we should do. The guy who got hit had already called the cops and i checked on him first and he was fine. The guy who died ended up obviously being extremely drunk, and the guy who got hit was also drinking. Double dui. I can still see the guy laying there in my head. Never seen anything like that in person.
