What happened at the worst party you've ever been to?

When I was 16 or something, one of my close friends was hyping up an upcoming birthday party held a his friends "free" house (his parents were apparently out of the state). Word got around and people started to discuss what drinks to buy and all that stuff.

Come that date, we're all pretty excited since 16 year olds don't really have many chances to host free house parties. As my friend and I are walking towards the house, we notice that there's no music or anything so we thought we were early. We still went ahead and walked into the house but then we started to hear some talking. I remember popping my head around the kitchen and to my surprise, the hosts' parents were there. They looked really angry, like really fucking angry. The host kid just sat on the table with puffy eyes whilst repeatedly saying sorry and there were A LOT of drinks on the bench for reasons that will uncover later (like at least 15 bottles and a couple of boxes).

Some of the things i remember hearing from the parents were "We can't even trust our own son for 3 days" and "We're disappointed in you and all your friends".

Back on topic, the parents turned around and told us to leave the alcohol on the table (along with what probably was the previous drinks left by kids who came before us) before they called the cops. We grudgingly (mentally) obliged as the alcohol was expensive as hell for us back then (something like 60 dollars for two bottles). We were then told to leave.

I felt bad for him and I felt that my entire night had been wasted, especially since the house was something like an hour away. The facebook event page also housed many disappointing posts and some even quite offensive. On the way back to the train station, we did however manage to let another group of kids realize what's going on.
