What happens when I run out of sick days?

Sick days shouldn't be capped, imo.

This is why viruses spread so suddenly, penalization for being sick across the board.

Most people I know with unpaid sick days, can't afford not to work.

Then you add in people with kids, who not only aren't getting paid for that day but STILL have to pay for childcare, and you get people sending their kids to school/daycare sick (especially if you're on a subsidy program, that gives limited covered sick days, but if the child gets sent home by the center it doesn't count against your days).

Often if you DO get sick days, it's really not enough to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. 3 paid sick days isn't worth much if the common cold/flu lasts 5-10 days.

The system complains an awful lot about 'people get others sick' when it's really not set up to make communal wellness a priority.
