With the ban of single use plastic coming into effect Dec 20th 2022 what does this mean for you personally?

If you have a garbage chute plastic bags were the cheapest and best option. I'm disappointed they didn't give a warning. Im also forgetful so I know I'm going to regularly turn back around on my way to a grocery store to get bags. The latter is inconvenient but the former is kind of frustrating. Once they get rid of garbage bags entirely, I'm going to have to go down many floors to dump it out. And I guess wash the bin I use every night. A lot of extra steps.

I'm sure people will start directly throw garbage down the chute more often. I'm sure that and the fact people have garbage in their bins will be super appealing to roaches

Garbage being dumped in green bins makes green bigs extra gross too. And probably extra attractive to raccoons.

I know plastic bags are bad, but they are useful. I would so much rather companies produce less crap no one needs (and for consumers to stop buying it) then get rid of them for garbage.
