Yes, dude, we know it comes from taxes. We fucking know that. But it's free at the point of use, the amount payed through taxes is less than half of what we Americans pay, and it will never put you into bankruptcy. Meanwhile, in the US, medical bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy.

I'm sorry if this comes off as needlessly confrontational but I've explaining this shit to people for like 10 fucking years now and it's getting to be a bit infuriating how people can't take two seconds to figure it out on their own.
