What human interaction is memorable to you, but the other person has probably forgotten?

I work as a waitress part time (I'm a uni student). This is my first job, and it could be be kind of overwhelming my first few shifts; I work in a really busy area and I cannot stress how little experience I have. Anyway, we get a lot of couples come in. One particularly busy day this young couple came in, probably only a couple of years older than me, and they were absolutely lovely the whole couple of hours I served them. They were incredibly polite, chatted and complimented the bartender's skills, etc., were a genuine pleasure to serve. That was nice, but I'm lucky in that quite a lot of the patrons at this restaurant happen to be quite nice. What was, for some reason, really lovely, was this: when they left and I went to clear their plates, I saw that they'd carefully stacked their plates, ramekins, cutlery and used napkins in a pile in the middle of their table. I think they might even have wiped it up a bit for me. And for some reason that was just so sweet, the fact that this lovely kind couple had taken a minute to make my job a tiny bit easier. There's no way they remember that specific act, but it still makes me smile when it's getting a bit hectic at work. And I'm better at remembering the names of the wines now...
