In 8th grade I had gym at the end of the day so it was rather convenient. Heard all the gossip and rumors that were going around that day/week/month or whatever. At this time 'the secret life of the American teenager' was popping up and us girls would talk about the episode in the locker room since some of us had different teachers. Now it was one day in particular that stood out from the rest. This one girl who was known for going around and dating quite frequently. A different guy every week it seemed. Anyway this one day i was talking with one of my friends in the locker room right after we finished changing, we were about to go out to the gymnasium when we heard the girl who dated talking to one of her friends about how she thinks she's pregnant. Once we heard that we ran out of the hallway to the gymnasium. The rest of our group was there and we told them what we just heard and within that period the whole gym new about it. Nobody thought that it was us who spread the rumor because we were all the "nerdy" kids. We were the type to watch anime and play pokemon when everyone else didn't. Fast forward a few months, this chick looked as though she gained quite a sizeable amount of weight. Everybody had forgotten about the rumor of her being pregnant because something bigger had sprung up about a teacher being fired. About a week after that rumor had come out everyone focused on that. Until the serial dater was changing like everyone else in the locker room when she all of a sudden got real quite for no reason, and right out of her mouth was ' oh my god my water just broke' the whole locker room became a mix of "she pissed herself" to "is she ok" the gym teachers rate out to her and that whole gym period my friends and I were looking at each other with the look of horror because we thought she was faking it to get even more attention
