What is a lifehack that seems fake, but is a true lifesaver?

A word about thoughts...

Thoughts have weight (they can pass by or grow in weight and consume your mind with the attention you give to them), they have direction (helpful, neutral, and dark or negative thoughts), thoughts spread like a virus, and create reality.  The trick with dark or negative thoughts is, that you want them to just float by without engaging them.  Acknowledging them can assign them weight in your mind. Avoid creating loops of thought all together. Totally non productive.

Nihilism, existentialism, and absurdism are just like dividing ➗ by zero. Your brain goes around and around in circles trying to analyze them. It is a fruitless endeavor. A hamster wheel. Best avoid this line of thought. I know what I am talking about. Our minds are NOT wired / designed to process many deep thoughts. So I avoid it when possible
