What is it like being in your 20s in the UK these days?

As other people have said... it's a huge feeling of "what's even the point?".

I feel like the entire system is rigged against me/people in general.

Can barely afford enough food. Can barely afford to heat my flat. My teeth are ruined because I haven't been able to get consistent appointments for years. Multiple things I need to see the GP/doctor about but I haven't been able to get consistent appointments for years. Last three weeks I can't even get through to my GP on the phone because they're "too busy".

I'm incredibly lucky in my housing situation, so there's that as a personal plus for me. But, generally, I don't have much hope for my future.

I wanted to have a family by this point, but I now understand that will probably never be able to happen.

But, I try.

(28 year old, UK).
