What makes you happy?

Okay, so you need a little perspective and a whole lot of balance here. Perspective in the form of learning to be grateful for what you do have: Stable employment, wealth, health and love. I'm old enough to be your parent and I promise you the myth of 'doing what you love' is a bit of a pie in the sky ideal for most people. Doing what you can finances doing what you love, so I do agree with the others here who have said you need to relax your very stringent budget a little and have some fun.

At 10 months in you're still learning how to be a parent, how to be a family and that takes time, but it also takes a great foundation of memories so start making some, and get that camera equipment first so that you can document your little tribe as it grows.

Not to say you should go hog-wild but a little loosening of the purse strings might just help things. I remember the early years with my kids-I had cabin fever. I felt like this was 'life' now and if that was it. Over the years I learned to cherish every second. The process begets happiness and you will find it too!

(Also: Film industry is completely overrated. My spouse has been in film for 20 years. We have hardly seen him in that time.)
