new player, don't understand the controls?

You walked in here, acted like you could immediately do advanced shit without learning the basics. You thought you could learn it easy based on your previous knowledge in mobas. As far as I've seen most people in this thread were trying to help you. Set your ego aside, this game is hard and you will lose a lot, you can't hide behind a support or blame a feeder in fighting games.

like I said before, this game is not difficult - you're jumping to the conclusion that I decided the game was too hard and quit. this is not at all the case. you claim that I haven't played long enough to know where the skill ceiling is, and I think you're wrong. I've done a ton of research, and I understand the game a lot more than I can play it - and what I've come to understand is that it has a low skill ceiling. at least in comparison to any other competitive game. I'm a very competitive person, I enjoy a challenge, and a game where I can express my skill. you are very limited in that regard in tekken. I was winning matches against people after my initial practice drills, and I have no prior experience playing fighting games. that tells me that this game is bad. I should not be able to win matchups immediately after loading up the game. if I lost a match, it was because I didn't understand it - and I can tell that once I understood it, it would be a very boring matchup. it didn't feel like "whoah, I got crushed by that guy, he is so good" it was more like "i don't understand" and I suspect that there is just a whole lot more of 'not understanding' instead of 'whoah i just got outplayed' as I continue to rank up in the ladder. no thanks.
