What moment made you say “Yep, I’m definitely dead”, but survived with no major injuries?

I was headed to work when a red car cut me off. No problem I thought I'll just ride the ditch.. then I hit a culvert and flipped.

The last thing i thorough of before I smashed into the staring wheel and blanked out was the spare vehicle battery that was in the backseat, used to start the engine when the vehicle didn't want to start. I realized now in this moment that having a 41kb battery in the backseat was going to end me, that it was going to hammer me like a bug.

I was awake through the first flip. I slightly remember the second. I blanked out on the third thinking ''game over''

Then I woke up surrounded by EMT. The vehicle battery had miraculously missed me and rocketed into the glass, falling down and staying in place at the passenger foot area. The vehicle was twisted like taffy, but somehow I was alive.

I no longer drive with a battery in the seat.
