What was the most interesting thing you wrote down as a quote from a patient?

Tl;dr I don’t know how I documented it or wrote it, but I remember it very well. Responded to a call for well fair check. Got there and it is like the hoarder tv show. And the Fire Marshall was there and a lot of firemen. They pulled me aside and told me “this lady tried killing herself because she’s getting evicted. She took a bunch of pills 2 days ago.......oh by the way, she also fed her cat the pills and has been laying in bed with her dead cat for the last two days.” Cat was rigid as fuck. Long story short, I’m trying to make small talk with this lady in the back of the ambulance. She told me she put her cat down with aspirin because he’s 13 and she didn’t want to cat to go through the adoption process and believed that was “cruel”. She then asks me if I have any pets. I tell her I adopted a dog, but after about 6 months, I felt it was too much responsibility and I found a good home for to go to. She then turns to me, gives me the dirtiest look and tells me how terrible of a person I am for rehoming a dog and making it go through that....
